The three-year dual MSCS Degree Program in Computer Science is for students wishing to enhance career options. Students spend the first year on the Yaounde campus, the second year at SPSU and return to Yaounde for the final year. Courses focus essentially on reinforcing graduates’ capacities to successfully apply computer knowledge to address real world opportunities and challenges, especially in Africa.
The program serves as a springboard for genuine computer technology transfer because it is context relevant insofar as it emphasizes the spirit of creativity, innovation and initiative, broadens and deepens the most relevant computer skills as students are strongly encouraged to independently work towards projects that will place computing at the center of Africa’s development.
