A newly designed Bachelor of Science program in Economics : Admissions Requirements
PKFokam Institute of Excellence Emana-Yaounde offers a newly designed Bachelor program in Economics. It takes four years (8 semesters) and leads to the degree “Bachelor of Science”. Applications for starting in August 2010 are invited now.
The application deadline is June 30th. Proof of a sufficient command of the English language (TOEFL) to meet course study and assessment is required. Applicants must have completed secondary education with a Baccalaureat or a GCE/AL.
Program Outcome
The Bachelor of Science in Economics focuses on the application of economics principles to the analysis of the organization and operation of business enterprises. Includes instruction in monetary theory, banking and financial systems, theory of competition, pricing theory, wage and salary/incentive theory, analysis of markets, and applications of econometrics and quantitative methods to the study of particular businesses and business problems.
